What kind of church

This week I’m running a mini series of articles -actually (with one exception), they are reruns from a sermon series going back a few years on 1 Corinthians.

What do we want our churches to be like? Corinth was both a church that we would want to emulate in terms of its passion and giftedness but also a warning to us in terms of its tolerance for pride, division and rivalry.

In confronting the issues at Corinth, Paul helps us to think through the types of issues we might face today. What kind of church should we be? Well the short answer is “A Spirit filled, word centred, Christ exalting church”. But what does that mean? Check in for the articles each day to find out more.
