Just to let those of you who follow me on Twitter/X know, that I decided yesterday to de-activate my account. It may simply be a temporary break but there’s a significant possibility that it may become permanent.
A lot of people have been making similar decisions for similar reasons recently. I may talk a bit more about why I took the decision in a later post, especially if it becomes permanent.
However, the main reason for sharing this now is that one of my reasons for being on Twitter was to enable people to discuss, comment, push back on what I’ve written here. I’d decided previously not to have comments open as I didn’t want to take up my time essentially moderating a discussion forum.
So, I wanted to take the opportunity to say again that despite not opening comments, I do appreciate feedback, discussion and challenge. Please keep it coming.
The best way to do this is by using the contact form. I always respond by email to people who get in touch and if they are willing and we both think it is helpful, I can them share comments here or even from time to time provide space for guest writers to have a right to reply.
