Faithroots Live Wednesdays

After a Christmas/New Year break we’ll be back on Wednesday for Faithroots Live. One f my aims has been to provide teaching and training online, particularly but not exclusively with those called to urban contexts in mind.

So, with a little bit of free time on my hand as we await our next posting and with lockdown changing others’ plans too, my aim over the next few months is to set aside Wednesdays for online teaching through Facebook.  The amount of provision is likely to build up a little over the next few weeks.

However, from this Wednesday you can join me at

9am for Morning Prayer  This will include prayers and readings and we’ll be making use of both the Church of England Morning Prayer Liturgy as well as the fabulous Valley of Vision (Puritain Prayers). There will also be devotional thoughts on a Bible passage.

Then at 8pm we will be returning to the book of Deuteronomy and our mini-series “Life in the presence of the Living God” which we will be finishing off over the next few weeks.

I’ll let you know if we are planning to include any further sessions through the day so keep an eye out on our Facebook page and twitter account.

In a few weeks we’ll start doing some teaching on a NT book and some Doctrine. I’m also hoping to include some workshops on hot topics and some preaching training too.

If you think this might be useful to anyone else please link them up with me
