What if we could do church with minimal fuss? Getting closer to the community we live in, focusing on sharing the good news and sharing our lives as we get on with making disciples?
What if church could be relaxed. Maybe getting together for breakfast or lunch in a home? What if we didn’t have to worry about all the overheads of a venue to maintain, ministries to run etc?
Just to be clear, I’m a positive supporter of conventional churches. But I also appreciate that they may not always reach everyone and meet their spiritual needs. Further, there is something about being smaller, swifter and lighter in our church planting. So, that’s one of the reasons why Faithroots exists, in order to encourage pioneer urban church planting.
So, if this is something that might interest you, then please feel free to give me a shout. It may be that you are up for leading a church plant with a bit of support or it could be that you don’t see yourself as a leader but would be willing to be part of something.
Whilst you can always pick up resources from the site here, it could be helpful to link up a bit more intentionally. In addition to videos and articles, I can offer mentoring, coaching and consultancy either in person for those in the West Midlands or via Zoom for those further afield.
